Allen Belcourt

Allen resides in Edmonton, Alberta and has worked on many internationally produced film and television projects such as Steven Spielberg's Mini-Series Into The West, as well as Disney's Little House on The Prairie, along with many other short and industrial film and television productions such as Rabbit Fall and Hank Williams First Nation.


Allen has a great appreciation for the acting craft and began his career in 2003. He has taken numerous acting lessons and classes and continues to develop as an actor. He became a member of the professional actors union ACTRA in 2004 and continues to grow as a performer. Most recently Allen has branched out to writing and directing. He became interested in the technical side of storytelling after participating in the National Film Board of Canada workshop called First Stories. This is where he learned the basics of documentary filmmaking from experienced directors. Some of Allen's other interests include hockey, sports and wellness, spending time with friends and family, the outdoors, reading and daydreaming.
