Gary Basaraba

Gary is from Edmonton originally and attended the Theatre Department at UBC before going on to graduate from the Yale School of Drama. Since then Gary has lived and worked first in New York and then Los Angeles, acting in numerous successful American feature films, including The Taking of Pelham 1 2 3, Fried Green Tomatoes, Mrs. Parker And The Vicious Circle and Unfaithful.


Gary's greatest success has come in TV, where's he's made regular appearances in shows like Miami Vice, Law & Order, NYPD Blue and Judging Amy. He has had continuing lead roles in network series like Brooklyn South and Partners, and more recently starred alongside Donnie Wahlberg in the brilliant Boomtown, as well as appearances in CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Everybody Hates Chris, Las Vegas and Nip/Tuck.


Gary's latest credits include him playing Homer Zuckerman in Charlotte's Web, alongside the voices of Robert Redford, Julia Roberts and Clay Roberts in the Emmy Award Winning Series Recount with Academy Award Winner Kevin Spacey and Academy Award Nominee Laura Dern.
